Design Stories Terms and Conditions set the rules for using designstories.org. By using Design Stories, you agree to the rules below, so please read every section carefully. Please note that these terms cover the use of our website, while additional terms may apply during newsletter subscription or sign-up, and distinct terms apply if you decide to submit a design to us.
1. Your Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Design Stories Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Design Stories, available at https://designstories.org, and of all pages, features, tools and content of designstories.org. By accessing or using Design Stories, you confirm that you have carefully read, understood and agreed to be bound by Design Stories Terms and Conditions, the Design Stories Privacy Policy and the Design Stories Cookies Policy. If you agree, you are welcome to continue using Design Stories, and otherwise we ask you to stop using Design Stories. The publisher of Design Stories is identified in the Design Stories Impressum.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Design Stories, the publisher of Design Stories and the owners, operators, editors, contributors, licensors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and service providers of Design Stories shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, reputation or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the access to or use of, or the inability to use, Design Stories, or reliance on any content published on designstories.org, even if previously advised of the possibility of such damages. The service, idea, media and other designs, products, projects, photographs, renderings, descriptions, names, logos and trademarks featured on Design Stories belong to the original creators, designers, brands and license holders of each work, who keep all rights to their intellectual properties and related rights. Each work is shown on Design Stories for editorial or entertainment purposes, and the presentation of a work on Design Stories leaves every right with the respective owners.
Original materials of Design Stories. Except for third-party works, the original texts, the selection and arrangement of content and the layout of Design Stories are protected by copyright and are © 2008 – 2026 Design Stories. You are welcome to read Design Stories and to share links to pages of designstories.org for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please obtain prior written permission from the publisher of Design Stories, and from the relevant rights holders for featured works, before copying, reproducing, scraping, harvesting, mirroring, framing, republishing, selling or otherwise exploiting content of designstories.org, except where the law expressly allows.
Notice to rights holders. If you are a creator or rights holder and believe that a feature on Design Stories infringes an intellectual property right, or gives incorrect credit, you can send a written notice through the Design Stories Contact page, indicating the address of the page, identifying the work and your rights in the work, and providing a way to reach you. Design Stories reviews every notice promptly and, where appropriate, corrects or removes the content.
7. Third-Party Websites, Services and Advertising
Design Stories contains links to, and content from, third parties, including the A' Design Award & Competition, Designers.org, the Design Encyclopedia and other partner and affiliated websites. Third-party websites are operated independently of Design Stories, so their content, availability, terms and privacy practices remain solely the responsibility of the respective third party. You access third-party websites at your own risk and discretion and subject to the terms of the respective third party.
Advertising shown on Design Stories is delivered by Massive Outreach Ads Network, the advertising solution provider of Design Stories. Advertisements are supplied by third parties, and each advertised product, service or advertiser remains solely the responsibility of the respective advertiser. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.
8. Forms and Forwarding to Third-Party Services
Some features of Design Stories, such as the Design Stories Submit Design page, the Design Stories Newsletter page and the Design Stories Encyclopedia page, work in two simple steps. You provide a few details on designstories.org and may then be forwarded to a partner service that carries out the actual service.
