Steganography

A new approach for billboard advertising. Advertising which has the engaging and attractive feature to be invisible, except for the intended viewing target audience. There are many commercial applications from landmarks, shop advertising facades, signs for the visually impaired to name but a few. The world's fourth-largest metropolis and Brazil's most important city, São Paulo, became the first city outside of the communist world to put into effect a radical, near-complete ban on outdoor advertising, there is no better time to look for new and exciting solutions to this problem.

Project Nebula

Nebula Project is a device that incorporates a miniaturized Modified Atmosphere Packaging MAP technology system for food preservation. It represents Saes's first Industrial Design project, aimed at implementing design driven innovation methodologies within the company and exploring their applicability in laboratory workflows. It is estimated that approximately 930 million tons of food were wasted in 2019, with around 60% of it being discarded by consumers at home. Nebula aims to address these challenges by leveraging cutting edge technology to empower individuals to reduce food waste.

Whaletone Grand Hybrid Piano

Whaletone Grand Hybrid is the latest model which brings a few important innovations. Whaletone Grand Hybrid is an answer to the needs of those for whom the Royal model was too exacting due to its dimensions. Not losing a thing from the Royal model's character, proportions, slenderness, and characteristic line, it is its smaller equivalent owing to which it needs much less space and is easier to be transported while the best acoustic features remain unchanged. A system that joins classical mechanics with all digital possibilities indicates the direction in which Whaletone grand pianos develop.

The Folding Boat, located along the shore of the Harlem River, is a multifunctional space serving as a rowing facility for the community college, a small library, and a museum dedicated to sport rowing. Featuring a folded metal roof, this structure defines its interior space by seamlessly blending walls into ceilings. Positioned at the convergence of historical and modern districts, the meticulous placement of elements respects programs, circulation, and the urban landscape.

Rixing Go Digital

Rixing is the world's last and only type foundry that's still making traditional Chinese letterpress. As part of Taiwan's cultural heritage and an ambitious career rather than a for-profit business, Rixing dedicates itself to conveying cultural values of craftsmanship and aesthetics of letterpress to all. This project aims at helping Rixing deliver its value proposition by implementing a self-guided service for visitors to learn about the history, artefacts, techniques, and commodities of letterpress on their own, leaving staff more time to better serve their customers.

SpaceV

SpaceV is a digitally enabled space vending system for future wellbeing. It offers a variety of customizable spaces via a vending system for individuals to book by the minutes. The design celebrates qualities of automation, modularity and scalability of vending machines and merges spatial, interaction and service design into a holistic physicals experience. High polish 3D visualizations are used to storyteller the human-centered experience. This experience blueprint for future wellbeing in the city leverages the vending system and speculates: what if a vending machine becomes a building?
