The exhibition was at Mountain Alishan, a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, which combines arts with the Taiwanese traditional tea industry. The cross-sections cooperation of this exhibition could bring out the new business module. On each package, tourists can see different expressions conveying the same theme, "Taiwan." Immersing in the beautiful scenery of Taiwan, visitors could have a deeper understanding of Taiwanese tea culture and industry.

A multiplayer drummer cannot play Rock Reggae and Jazz using the same snare drum. Zikit Drums designed a mechanism that provides drummers a versatility playing experience without being bound to a specific music style by changing the diameter of the snare drum in real-time. Zikit designed to augment possibilities for drummers and giving them new acoustic opportunities in creating unique content.

Continue readingVenous Materials project envisions a new way to design dynamic tangible interactions using fluidic Interfaces. It is a new type of interactive material that is inspired by veins systems in nature and throughout the human body. When the user applies pressure or motion to the material, it dynamically displays geometric patterns and colors. The different patterns are displays that function as tangible sensors, to animate dynamic graphics, to create responsive objects for learning activities, and to visualize body movement and balance.

However, once a person dies, those digital properties are often forgotten and inaccessible. Anima Code is a personal seal with an engraved QR code that contains an access key to a person's digital data. By scanning the code stamped beforehand, the bereaved ones can reach the person's digital presence after his or her death. Through the physical interaction of stamping a seal, the designer explores the secure yet intimate approach for inheritance in the digital era.
